Display: Installed a new monitor and it doesn't work correctly

You've just purchased a brand new monitor and have opened it for the first time at a show and it's not working properly. Most new monitors require that you answer a series of questions the first time you power them up.

Take your remote control and go through each question and answer it properly.

Unfortunately there's no easy way around this process. Also, many new monitors come set to what is called a “Store Demo”. This demo mode allows retailers to put them on display and show off their features. You may need to go through the settings menu and find the tab that contains the “Store Demo” setting and disable it, or turn it off. This can also get reset back to enabled or on if someone resets the monitor back to factory default.
